Lisa Haas is an actor and comedy writer working in film, television, theatre, voiceover, and education. She will be seen in the first two episodes of season three of Search Party on HBOMax, premiering June 25, 2020, as well as in Dinette, soon-to-be-released on BRICTV.

She was recently seen in Wild Nights with Emily, which premiered at SXSW, was brought to theatres by Greenwich Entertainment, and released on VOD/DVD by Universal in 2020 and is now available on HULU. Lisa was the lead in the feature comedy Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same and co-lead in and co-screenwriter of the feature comedy The Foxy Merkins – both of these films premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. She has co-starred in many other feature and short films.

Her plays, sketch comedies and storytelling pieces have been performed in NYC, nationally and internationally. These include Stacked: A Deviant Doctoral Dissertation, Rita & Inez: The True Queens of Femininity, IN HEAT: Is She Hot Under Her Collar or Under Her Skirt, and Crown Hill Cemetery, for which she received a Jerome Foundation Fellowship. 

Lisa is a member of SAG-AFTRA and The Dramatists Guild of America, and teaches in the Speech, Communications and Theatre Arts Department at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York City. Lisa Haas is available for acting work, voiceover narration, storytelling events, and solo performances as well as creative writing workshops.
